The benefit of hardening is that the time between the cessation of heating and the commencement of quenching is minimised, balanced combination of temperature and time is of great importance to the properties of a high-performance roll.

The temperature control makes it easy to reproduce barrel hardening on a variety of roll types,So it's possible to achieve highly homogeneous structures and hardness profiles.

It is possible to achieve the balanced distribution of tension and an even progression of hardness across the entire barrel through the application of hardening.

We employ induction hardening in a targeted manner to broaden the range of our heat-treatment performances.

We are very proud of our ability to adapt hardening depths to demands customer requirements.

Advancing induction hardening is used for particularly on rolls that cannot be drilled, and for secondary-hardening materials.

Good machining facilities are a powerful guarantee for high-quality products. In order to ensure the high quality of the products ,Changfan has the large grinder,large milling machine,medium frequency quenching equipment,large and medium-sized heat treatment facilities ,specialized roller mechanical processing lathes and so on.

CNC milling is for a wide variety of geometries, CNC grinding is for various barrel geometries.The grinding process is complemented by non-destructive testing techniques. Metal flaw detection testing from the roll surface to the core to detect the smallest of imperfections.

The machining tools are generously dimensioned to match the weight and dimensions of our rolls. We’re also on request able to carry out special machining tasks on them. Our milling, grinding and lathes machines permit rolls weighing up to 25 tonnes, with diameters of up to 1,500 millimetres and total lengths of up to within 6,000 millimetres to be machined.

Multiple rigorous tests assure the roll quality. Firstly is the rolls’ quality foundation, that is raw material rigorous inspection. Then strictly inspect each step of production, Include internal & external diameter inspection, Aperture inspection, Length measurement，Roundness inspection, Flaw detection, Hardness testing, Temperature measurement and so on. Finally, inspection is for each finished roll.
